pouflé
Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know before your first order.
What is a croffle?
A croffle is a hybrid pastry: laminated croissant dough pressed in a waffle iron. The result is crisp and caramelised on the outside with a flaky, buttery interior. At pouflé we make croffles in both sweet and savoury formats — loaded with seasonal toppings and French-inspired combinations.
What is a bubble bowl?
Our individual bubble bowl is a Hong Kong–style egg waffle (a round grid of puffed spheres) served as a personal-sized dessert base. It arrives warm in a box, ready to fill with ice cream, whipped cream, and toppings.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes — pouflé is available on major delivery apps. Click the Delivery link in the navigation to order through your preferred platform. Pickup orders placed directly through our site arrive faster and never incur a platform fee.
How does pickup work?
Add items to your bag, enter your name and mobile number at checkout, then complete payment through Square. You'll receive a confirmation and can pick up at the counter once your order is ready — typically 10–15 minutes.
Where is pouflé located?
pouflé is a no-hood kiosk on Market Street in San Francisco. We operate on a reduced footprint using waffle-format equipment — no commercial hood required. Full address and map on the Visit page.
What are your hours?
Hours vary by season. The most current hours are always displayed on this site and on our Google Business profile.
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes — most of our SWEET range is vegetarian, as are the Croffle du Jardin and the Pomme de Terre Jardin jacket potato. Check individual item descriptions for details.
Can I customise my order?
Our menu is curated — each dish is composed to taste its best as listed. Substitutions are not supported through online ordering. For allergy-related requests please contact us directly before placing your order.
Is online ordering secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Square — we never see or store your card details. Item prices are verified server-side before checkout, so the amount displayed is always the amount charged.
